Digital Marketing for Wales Favourite Seafood Company

Owner Mathew Williams first approached LJP Digital in August 2022, looking for assistance with the Social Media Marketing & Graphic Design. This quickly turned into a range of services to support their goals, including Email Marketing, Website Design, E-Commerce, Graphic Design, Poster & Flyer Designs, Business Cards Design & Print and more.

Social Media Marketing highlights:

Growing the page from 5.7k followers to 11.1k followers (22/08/23). We run weekly competitions for them which give followers the chance win Seafood Platters. We also manage both feed posts and story posts, ensuring that followers are kept up to date with their latest whereabouts. We’ve been in charge of marketing campaigns for their pop ups, including at Farthings Cowbridge, Cowbridge Food Festival, Tiger Yard opening and The Royal Welsh show.

We’ve partnered with brands such as Glamorgan Brewery to run competitions also – giving followers the chance to name beers when The Rock & Scallop open their own home.

Email Marketing Highlights:

Helping The Rock & Scallop to grow from zero to over 2,000 subscribers on their email list. This helped Mat and the team to sell over 130+ £99 Christmas Seafood Platter boxes in the first couple of months of working with LJP Digital. After designing them an E-Commerce website, we got to work on adding platters as products that customers could order online.

We’ve also been lucky enough to enjoy nearly every dish on their menu, check out some of the shots we took for them below.

The Rock & Scallop provide some of the finest Seafood we’ve ever tasted (Yes, we might be biased!). The nature of their business means that the menu changes frequently, and so, we have lots to talk about online when planning their next posts/campaigns.

We continue to work with Mat at The Rock & Scallop as they approach their much anticipated opening in Pontyclun – look out on their social media pages for more updates on this.
